Description
Linezolid Oral Suspension IP
Ayuzolid Dry Syrup is a pediatric antibiotic formulation containing Linezolid Oral Suspension IP, specially designed for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms. Linezolid belongs to the oxazolidinone class of antibiotics and works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing the growth and multiplication of bacteria.
The oral suspension is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae, and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE). It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and other severe bacterial infections in pediatric patients. The dry syrup formulation offers easy reconstitution and convenient administration, making it suitable for children who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
Ayuzolid Dry Syrup should only be used under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional, and the full prescribed course should be completed to ensure effective treatment and minimize the risk of antibiotic resistance.
