Ristopime-T Injection is a sterile combination of Cefepime and Tazobactam, formulated for the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. Cefepime is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Cefepime from enzymatic degradation by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, thereby extending its antibacterial spectrum and enhancing its clinical effectiveness.

This combination provides broad-spectrum antibacterial coverage against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is commonly used in the management of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bloodstream infections, and febrile neutropenia. The injectable formulation offers rapid systemic action and should be administered only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
